For more than three decades, Fawzy has pursued an expressive and experimental practice shaped by the human figure, nature and the physical intelligence of materials.
Her work turns to mass and void, stillness and transformation. Surfaces preserve gesture, pressure and layered making, keeping the process present in the finished form.

Form as lived experience
Fawzy’s figures move between recognisable bodies and distilled forms. Curves, openings and protective masses hold inner and outer worlds in dialogue. In bronze and ceramic, stillness becomes a way of holding memory and change.

Her work has been presented at the Palace of Arts at Cairo Opera House, Mahmoud Mokhtar Museum, Mahmoud Said Museum in Alexandria and Gezira Art Center, as well as in museums and cultural institutions in Serbia, Croatia and Germany.
Works are held by the Egyptian Ministry of Culture and in private collections across Egypt, Europe and the Arab region.
